The old walled city of Khiva called Ichon-Qala is an open-air museum declared a World Heritage Site.

The sand-colored Arabian-style buildings, the beauty of the minarets covered with majolica painted in green, light blue and turquoise, all perfectly preserved, make every corner a treasure.

Climbing up the walls, to admire the citadel, you will take a dip in the assured past, because you will seem to see at any moment the ancient caravans of camels enter and leave the gates.
